OMBAC Ruling Clarification:
OMBAC's ruling on wooden bats specifies they must be "Official Softball" or "Official Little League" bats. No bat can be painted over by the owner to cover any manufacturer's engraving, imprinting or lettering. The manufacturer's imprinting must be legible/visible. Buying a pre-painted bat from the manufacturer is perfectly acceptable.
This is a picture of Berndog making a great one-handed grab in 1988 OMBAC World OTL Championships; a part of the reason he got the nickname "The Claw".
Berndog (Bernard) once pitched for the Cincinnati Reds Organization in 1975 and 1976 in the Minor Leagues. He also has a No-Hitter to his professional career credit.
